When it comes to wine labels there are hundreds of options available with regards to size, look and feel. From an industry expert point of view I thought I would share with you why I think it would be your best bet to have all your wine labels a generic size. If you’ve got the budget then it’s a completely different story. From a sales point of view, we try save you as much cash as possible and still make sure your labels are perfect and only the best quality.

The number one reason why I would suggest you look at a generic size for your wine labels is so that you don’t have to spend thousands of rands in the years ahead. It’s pretty simple to understand that if you decide on a generic size it will make life easier for all parties involved when it comes to designing and printing your labels.

The second reason is that if you have a generic size for your labels and it comes time to print a new label, you will get your labels at a faster turnaround time due to the fact that you wouldn’t have to wait on suppliers to deliver the new tooling. That being said, there will always be tooling involved when it comes to printing a new label for your wine.

Here’s a suggestion. If your wines are all bottled into the same shape and size bottle then it would be your best option to decide on a generic size so you can save a ton of money and time in the future.

Now I understand that when it comes to premium wine brands, they do not want all their labels to be the same size and shape due to the fact that they insist on having different sizes and shapes on just about all their ranges of wine.

Hope you find this article insightful and decide to take my advice.
